Sprint Nextel Corporation M&A:
Sprint Nextel announced plans to acquire Virgin Mobile USA.  Sprint Nextel's prepaid
business will be led by Dan Schulman current CEO of Virgin Mobile USA and will report
to Sprint's CEO Dan Hesse.

William Ogle has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer for Motorola's Mobile Devices

Globalstar management changes:
  • Peter Dalton has been appointed Chief Executive Officer replacing James Monroe III
    who will continue to serve as Executive Chairman of the Board.
  • Chief Operating Officer Thomas M. Colby has left the company.  CEO Peter Dalton
    will assume the duties of the COO.
